Privacy Policy

GrowChicken is operated by Waida Studio. This page tells you what we collect, what we do with it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

• Account info: your email and display name, given by you at signup.
• Flock data: chickens, daily logs, health events, expenses, AI check results, photos — given by you while using the app.
• Billing info: Stripe processes payments. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see your card number.
• WhatsApp number (only if you opt into WhatsApp reminders).
• Push subscription endpoints (only if you enable push notifications).
• Server logs with IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

• Run the service — show your flock data, run AI checks, send reminders you've enabled.
• Process payments via Stripe when you upgrade.
• Send transactional email (account verification, welcome, monthly summary, reminders) via Resend.
• Improve the app — aggregate, anonymized usage analytics via Plausible.

We don't sell your data. We don't use it to train AI models. Photos you upload are stored privately in Supabase Storage and only used to render in your app and send to Claude for the specific check you run.

Who we share with

• Supabase — hosts our database and storage
• Vercel — hosts the web app
• Anthropic — runs the AI photo checks (Claude Sonnet vision); they don't store your photos beyond the API call
• Stripe — handles billing
• Resend — delivers transactional email
• Twilio (only if you enable WhatsApp reminders)

Your controls

• Export all your data as CSV from Settings.
• Delete any chicken, flock, expense, log entry, or AI check from the app.
• Cancel your subscription from Settings → Manage subscription. Your data isn't deleted; you drop to the free tier.
• Account deletion: email us at hello@growchicken.com and we'll remove your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• Turn off notifications: email/push/WhatsApp toggles in Settings.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (Supabase session), to remember your active flock, and for the Stripe checkout flow. We don't use third-party tracking cookies.

Children

GrowChicken isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

We'll update this page when our practices change. If the change is material, we'll email you.
